From 1997 to 2006 COR—Catholic Schools Opposing Racism—organized and hosted events for the students and teachers in the schools of the Archdiocese of Chicago.

The following pages provide an archive of the events offered from 2000 to 2006.

Although some of the events have religious themes and rituals, this archive is presented as a resource for teachers and students from all types of schools. We hope to encourage others to take on the urgent task of recognizing racism that is among us and of working to build unity among people of all backgrounds. We have also included the comments and commitments of some of the thousands of students and teachers who participated in this program.

While COR was phased out in 2006, we hope that our past work will inspire teachers and students into the future.
