We are story gatherers. We are storytellers. For eight years the JustStories initiative has produced live storytelling events in the Chicago, IL area. These festivals and concerts have hosted professional storytellers who have a commitment to telling original and personal stories about race relations, immigration and racial justice. These engaging and entertaining stories celebrate the challenge and beauty of diversity and the deeper human connection that can bridge differences. These stories speak of dignity, resilience and hope.

Angels Studio is a communications ministry of the Roman Catholic Order – the Society of The Divine Word. This community serves people of faith, or without faith, around the world, in the belief that there is a rightful and just place for all God’s Children at the table of life. The RaceBridges and JustStories Project is nonsectarian. The universal mission of RaceBridges is to unite people of all faiths, people of no particular religious faith, and all people of goodwill to work at the unfinished business of building bridges across racial and class division. In doing so, we can create a more just America and world for ourselves and our children.
